Online surveys (CAWI) –

State-of-the-art quantitative research methodology surveys

Online research (CAWI) is a modern, technological solution for fast, focused quantitative data collection, widely used around the world.

The use of this automated platform makes it possible to obtain a wide coverage of the target audience, to target the attributes of the survey participants, to obtain the results of market research with less investment (compared to traditional face-to-face interviews), and in a shorter time.Online surveys

How do online surveys (CAWI) work?

Stage 1: Preparation for work

For carrying out sociological research the survey is programmed using special software. Software for online surveys allows you to apply surveys of varying complexity, create non-trivial logic transition/branching, apply different forms of questions (closed, open, semi-closed, tabular), use images, video, etc.

Step 2: Create a Respondent Pool and Send Invitations

At this step, you’ll automatically filter out a sample of participants that meet your project’s target audience and survey requirements based on the qualifications you’ve provided. This parameter usually refers to gender, age, profession, income level, place of residence, and so on. It is determined by the most important parameters, such as. Participants whose surveys are compatible with the selected filters will be automatically emailed invitations to participate.

Step 3: Email survey.

Each participant has the option to transfer the link via email to the survey research page. Permission to participate in surveys is voluntary, group participants fill out the survey and participate if they have the opportunity. Research surveys should be a block of questions designed to turn away participants who do not qualify for the project, so only eligible participants are allowed to participate in the surveys.

The panel has a built-in mechanism for checking the frequency of participation of each participant: no more than 4 times a month for a verified participant (by the international ЕСОМАР code).

Step 4: Analysis of received data

Implemented responses can be downloaded into Excel or SPSS and begin processing the data. An analysis report is provided in PDF format, containing the results of the studies, as well as graph data.
